| 4 - 6 dishes | |
| Ingredients: | |
| 10 large potatoes | |
| 2 yellow onions | |
| 20 anchovy filets (use tinned sprats cured in brine) (save the liquid) | |
| 300 ml cream | |
| 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs | |
| 2 tablespoons of butter | |
Proceed as follows: |

| Heat the oven to 225 C (475 F) | |
| Peal and slice the potatoes in thin strips | |
| Peal and slice the onions | |
| Put a layer of potato strips at the bottom of the dish, than some onion, and on the top of this a layer of anchovy filets, continue all the way up and the uppermost layer should be potato strips | |
| Spread the breadcrumbs over the dish | |
| Poor 200 ml of the cream over the dish and also the liquid | |
| Sprinkle with the butter | |
| Place in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes, than add the rest of the cream and continue baking for another fifteen minutes | |
